Have More, By Doing Less.

We live in a world where doing more is seen as a good thing and doing less is seen as bad. People are wearing as a badge of honor, how busy and stressed they are, and we see our value in being busy. You have to wonder when creativity, ideas, and solutions have a chance to come in.

How much time are we spending being busy for the sake of it, a busy fool in other words.

You can be much more powerful in your life by doing less as you are fully present, giving your full attention to the task at hand. You take charge and decide what really requires your time and what doesn't.

In a world where multitasking and productivity are often applauded, however there is a powerful contrast in the art of doing less. Choosing to do less can lead to greater success and well-being.

Here are some ways to start the process of doing less in your life:

1) Invite in the silence.

It allows us to prioritize and create space. We allow ourselves to listen to our intuition and to our bodies, deepening our connection to our inner voice which brings ideas, solutions and creativity.

2) Take time to rest and relax.

When we do this, we reset our nervous system to bring balance to reduce stress and promote healing and clarity.

3) Set boundaries.

Learn to say “no” to activities and commitments that drain your energy and spend more time on self-care.

4) Simplify your schedule.

Eliminate non-essential tasks.  Focus on getting the most important tasks done without distraction. Have a finishing time and stick to it.

The shift that slowing down brings allows us to achieve our goals in a more balanced and fulfilling way.

So, if you find you're feeling overwhelmed by your To Do List, try doing less and see what possibilities can occur.

If you find you're never ending to do list is preventing you from reaching your goals, do you have demands on your time that you realize should not be there, and you cannot release yourself from them? Have you over committed and feel stuck?

I can help deal with the overwhelm by putting boundaries and strategies in place to give you breathing space to be you!
